Excellent Surgical Podiatrist

Dr. Summer Weary & her staff are excellent .The care I have received has been superior . I would recommend her for any foot problems small or big . I am glad I chose to go with her as a Surgical
Podiatrist instead of a Orthopedic Surgeon . She did a major surgery on my foot & ankle Oct. 20 2017 which included the following procedures: calcaneal osteotomy, cotton cuneiform osteotomy w/ cadavar wedge , posterior calf muscle lengthening (Tendon Achilles vs. gastrocnemius recession ) , repair of Achilles , repair of tear of posterior tibial Tendon repair with augmentation via flexor digitorium Tendon transfer. This type of surgery has a very long recovery time, up to a year complete recovery . I had no complications because of her expertise & I followed her instructions being a good patient . The Nurses at the hospital all had great things to say about her too which is always good to hear . Now at 21 weeks post op I am being released from her care & Physical Therapy ! I am doing fantastic & ahead of schedule . She is a very thorough skilled surgeon plus so caring & kind . I am forever grateful to Dr. Weary that my foot pain & swelling before my surgery is gone !!
